Post Lockdown Guidelines
PLEASE FIND MY DRIVING LESSON GUIDELINES / RISK ASSESSMENT REGARDING CORONAVIRUS.
Any student showing coronavirus symptoms or having been in contact with someone showing symptoms must not approach the car. They must contact their instructor prior to their arrival to cancel the lesson.
If following a lesson a student shows coronavirus symptoms they must contact their instructor.
Any student cancelling a lesson due to coronavirus is advised to get tested. If they show a negative test they can continue lessons when they are well enough to do so. If not tested they must wait 14 days before they take another lesson. (Cancelling lessons due to covid is exempt from our 48 hour cancellation policy).
If your instructor gets coronavirus symptoms they will contact all students who they have been in contact with and the instructor will get tested, if no testing available they will self isolate for 14 days.
Students details may be passed to public health england / nhs / government bodies to assist with track and trace.
Students must only enter the instructors car once instructed to do so.
Face coverings will be worn by both instructor and student where possible.. Student must supply their own face covering.
Windows in the car will be left ajar to help with ventilation. Please wear appropriate clothing for this.
No other persons will be present in the vehicle during lessons.
Gloves are optional and must be supplied by student if they want to wear them.
Students should be picked up from their home address and must wear fresh clean clothing. Any different pickup locations must be requested 24 hours prior to your lesson (i.e work or college). Should it be approved then fresh clean clothing should be put on immediately before the lesson.
Students must wash their hands immediatly before their lesson.
Hand sanitister will be used at the begining of the lesson.
Students must not touch their face during lesson.
Extra breaks may be incorporated into your lesson.
No eating or chewing gum allowed.
The interior and touch points if the car will be wiped down with antibacterial wipes between students.
Breifings and debriefs will be conducted outside of the car where possible.
Any new starters will not be asked to sign our new starter agreement, but the agreement will be read out to them and signed by the instructor that it has been read out to the student.
